i will remember her:

in the back of the night club, her first time out dancing, couches lined the far walls. we were hot on the floor and hotter in each others’ arms. the chemistry of us could have destroyed our lives, and maybe it did but we wouldn’t know it then. in the darkness we found the couches and i remember nothing but her skin. we must have been a show because someone threw water on us to put us out. we laughed and went back to dancing.
